Privacy Policy

The short version: your answers and profile live on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking across apps. We collect a few anonymous counts so the app can show how the world chose and so we can see which features people use.

This policy covers the SENEKA app (the "App"), the website seneka.pages.dev and the pages at this address, provided by Caner Kaya ("we").

Stored only on your device

• Your dilemma answers and how quickly you chose.
• Mini-game results, journey progress and streak.
• Your settings, such as language and reminder time.

We cannot see this data.

Sent to our server

• Anonymous answers: when you answer a dilemma, the dilemma id and the option letter (A or B). Nothing that identifies you. These power the "how the world chose" percentages.
• Anonymous usage events: a random install id created by the App, the name of the action (for example "daily dilemma answered" or "paywall shown"), small details about it (such as which theme pack, which plan, or a compatibility score), app version, platform and language. No advertising id, no name, no contact details, and never your answers. We use these to understand which features work and to fix problems. Start over deletes these events and gives the App a new install id.
• Things you choose to share: if you create a compatibility link or send a dilemma to a friend, we store your trait scores (or your choice on that dilemma) and the optional nickname you type, so your friend's page can work. Friends who answer can add an optional first name. You can delete your shared profile at any time with Settings → Start over.

The website

• The web test needs no account and sets no cookies. Your answers and result are kept in your browser's local storage on your device.
• Each answer is also counted anonymously (dilemma and option only) to show how people chose.
• If you create a compare link, we store the first name you type (optional), your trait counts and your archetype as a shared profile, plus the first name and score of friends who compare with you. To delete it, email us the code from your link.
• We count anonymous page and step events (for example "test completed", with date, language and archetype) and store-link clicks per day, channel and platform. No identifiers, cookies or IP addresses are stored with them.

IP addresses

Our server, hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., sees the IP address of each request. It is used briefly to limit abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored with any of the data above.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card details. RevenueCat, Inc. manages subscription status for us using an anonymous app user id and store transaction ids.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. No push token is sent to us.

Service providers

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting.
• RevenueCat, Inc.: subscription management.
• Apple and Google: app distribution and payments.

Retention and deletion

Settings → Start over erases everything on your device and deletes your shared profile, dilemma links and usage events from our server (if you are offline, the App retries the next time it is online). Anonymous answer counts cannot be linked to you; usage events are deleted after 13 months. For any request, email canerkaya.gp@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR) you can ask for access, correction or deletion of data about you, and complain to your data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).

Changes

We will update this page and its date when this policy changes.
